Welcome to my blog!
My name is Carli and I am a singer, songwriter, and a vocal teacher. For years and years I have dreamed of teaching voice lessons. It always seemed like the coolest job I could ever have! I am so thankful for the students I currently have and I can’t wait fill my schedule with more. Music is such a wonderful part of my life and I have incredible teachers to thank for that. I’d love to be that teacher for someone else!
My mission is simply to inspire students through music, and help them reach their goals. Each voice lesson I teach I strive to do at least those two things for my students. We work hard and we have a lot of fun too!
A little more about me:
I grew up in Holladay, Utah. I have a wonderful husband named Austin. (No kids yet!) We love the Utah Utes, hiking, boating, and trips to San Diego (where my parents live). I am a major sweet tooth and I love to cook and bake. I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I served a mission in the Chicago area! My childhood musical hero is Kelly Clarkson (I’ll be honest, she’s still my musical/vocal hero). She was also my very first concert. Pop, musical theater, and country are some of my favorite genres of music.
What to expect with this blog:
I hope this blog can support my overall mission: to inspire students through music and help them reach their goals. So you can expect just about anything that can help me do that. I’d love to share some of my own stories and experiences. I’ll also add anything inspiring or fun that relates to my mission as a teacher!
